Adult CO-ED Dodgeball

Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge your way into an amazing workout while letting your inner youth run wild through Adult Dodgeball at the Y.

The focus of our Adult Dodgeball leagues is to have fun, meet new friends and play in a non-competitive environment. Teams will consist of 6-10 members, with games beginning 6v6. You will sign up individually as a free agent, but the team’s captain will sign up in the team # slot and the option to pick your team name. Please keep in mind that The Y is a family oriented facility as well as a organization in the community. Participants must be 18 and older without exceptions.

Registration is from December 14th, 2023 – January 22nd, 2024

Captains Meeting

• Held via Zoom with the Sports Director on January 24th, 2024 @ 6pm
• Team Captain responsible for registering in team number slot.
• Individuals on a team must register as a free agent first and will be added to the team at captain’s request via emailed roster to Sports Director.
• Individuals registering without a team must attend Captains Meeting to find a team
  • No guarantee that individual registrants will find a team
• League information and rules will be presented at Captains meeting
  • Team Captains are responsible to relay league information to his/her teammates

Rosters

• Rosters must be sent into the Sports Director via email at [email protected]
  • Minimum of 6 players with at least 3 being women per team. Max of 10 players per team.
  • Players must be registered, paid and signed the waivers before playing.
  • Individuals without teams can be picked up by Team Captains that are short of players or have their own team formed.

Balls: We use dense core foam dodge balls

League Minimum

• A minimum of 6 teams is required to run league
• A minimum of 2 women must play in each match for each team.
• Games will be played on Fridays from 6:30pm – 8pm
• No team practice times scheduled
• Season will run from January 26th thru March 29th  2024
