Co-Ed  3rd – 6th Grade

This program is designed to pack 4 practices and 8 exciting games into a short five-week season. YMCA Volleyball games are non-competitive and emphasize developing basic skills throughout the season, equal playing time, and sportsmanship.

Registration: January 29th- April 13th

Season Dates: April 22nd – May 25th

Cost:  YMCA Members: $60    Non-Member: $70.  Membership not required to play. Financial assistance is available at: Financial Aid – Helena Family YMCA (helenaymca.org)

Equipment: Wear appropriate gym sneakers, athletic shorts or sweats, and knee pads. Bring your own volleyball (regulation-sized, volley-lite) if you have one, with your name on it. Price includes a jersey for all players.

PRACTICES: Teams have one practice per week at the YMCA Gym. Practices last 60-minutes.

3rd/4th Grade practices take place on Monday nights at 5 or 6pm.

5th/6th Grade practices take place on Tuesday nights at 5 or 6pm.

GAMES: Teams play two games per week at the YMCA Gym. Games last 60-minutes.

3rd/4th Grade games take place on Thursday nights between 5-9pm.

5th/6th Grade games take place on Friday nights between 5-9pm.

This program DEPENDS on volunteer coaches. No prior experience required. We welcome parents, family, community members, and high school and college students to sign-up. Every team will need a volunteer coach to be able to play!
