Youth Swim Lessons
There is a reason why the YMCA is referred to as “America’s Favorite Swim Instructor.” In Y Classes, kids not only learn to swim, but also learn about themselves, safety and rescue skills, and water activities they can enjoy for a lifetime.
Lessons are 45-minutes each at the YMCA. Swimmers have ONE 45-minute lesson per week.
Age 5-12 years old (Swim and private lessons)
Age 3months – 4 years old (Parent and child swim lessons)
Swim Lesson Cost: $65 for Y Members and $75 Non-Members. (Membership not required to participate.)
Privates Lesson Cost: $160 Members and $170 Non-Members
Parent and Child Lesson Cost: $70 Y Members and $80 Non-Members
Participants will be evaluated on the first day for appropriate class and skill level. There are 3 levels, beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
Children will work on:
- Water adjustment
- Stroke competency
- Rescue skills

Parent/Child swim
This program is for children ages 3 months to 4 years old. Parent or guardian are in the water with the child. Each half hour session is supervised by a specially trained instructor who will lead you through a series of exercises and activities that will be fun and instructive for your child. While developing fundamental skills you get to spend quality time with your child!
