THE HELENA FAMILY YMCA IS MORE THAN A GYM. A CAUSE.
Countless people throughout our community know the Helena Family YMCA. But there’s so much more to our Y than one might think. From exercise to education, from volleyball to volunteerism, from preschool to preventive health, the Y doesn’t just strengthen our bodies. It strengthens our community.
The Y is so much more than a gym. It’s a cause dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The Y: For a Better Us.
The Helena Family YMCA is a 3-story building with entry on the top floor. This floor houses the Member Services desk; a cardio theater complete with treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, and bicycles; a community room for birthday parties and gathering; and a group fitness studio holding 45+ weekly classes.
The second floor houses the gymnasium, locker rooms, and pool. Our gym is home to many youth and adult programs including basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, noon basketball, pickleball, Zumbathons, bootcamp classes, and more. Men’s & women’s locker rooms provide showers, allow access to the pool, and offer lockers for day use. The YMCA pool is 25 yards long, is heated at 83*, and offers public and private swim lessons, group aqua aerobics classes, public swim, and lap swim.
The bottom level of the Helena Family YMCA is home to the Health & Wellness Center. Here you will find barbells, dumbbells, Cybex machines, an indoor track, and additional cardio equipment. The Health & Wellness Center houses personal training, medicine balls, kettlebells, free weights, pull up bar, abdominal station, and stretch station.
