The two days of tryouts will be held on Thursday (June 28th) and Friday (June 29th) from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Memorial Park. Then each player will be placed with other players of similar skill level for practices and the end of season tournament.
Parents Meeting
Monday, June 4th, at 7:00 PM at the YMCA.
The purpose of this meeting is to help parents understand our program, our goals, and our values.

Equipment
In volleyball all precautions are taken to ensure the safety of every participant. Participants should come dressed in shorts/sweats, athletic shoes (NO “Heelies”), T-shirt, and knee-pads. The YMCA encourages the use of knee-pads but it is not mandatory and Parent's may want to purchase knee pads for their child. Regulation sized outdoor/indoor volleyballs will be used for ages 13 and up. A lighter in weight (volley-lite) will be used for those players 12 and under. Net height will be lowered to 5’11” for ages 12 and under and a smaller sized court will also be used. For the players 13 and up, the net height will be set a 7’4”.

Program Withdrawal
Our purpose is to provide the best quality programs for the most affordable price, based on adequate enrollments. Therefore, NO REFUNDS will be granted once the season has started. A credit (minus a $5 Administrative Charge) can be arranged for future programs. All requests must be in writing.

YMCA Philosophy
In YMCA Youth Sports, we strive to provide a structured environment emphasizing fun and learning, while teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. In YMCA Youth Sports, every child gets the opportunity to participate equally, regardless of his or her ability. Everyone Plays At The YMCA!
