Cycling – Great Cardio workout while biking in group setting.
Get Vertical- Our extension class taught at the Main Street School in East Helena. Get Vertical offers cardio floor work, sports conditioning, core strength, and yoga. There is a monthly $5 building fee. Get fit and have fun! Now also at the Helena YMCA location!
Cardio Kickboxing - Get your heart pumping and your muscles toned with this martial arts style class. This is a fun and high energy workout using heavy floor bags to provide both strength and endurance training. Students will also benefit from improved balance and coordination.
Muscle Fusion - Double your calorie burn, shred fat and define your fabulous muscles. This 60 minute weight training class utilizes high reps, low weight, sports conditioning, and cardio intervals…then (as if that wasn’t enough) goes back and works each muscle to failure with a BONUS set!
Oula -"An inspiring and super fun dance workout! Oula offers a balance between the ‘hip’ and the ‘hippy’ with structured, easy to follow, fun choreography while encouraging self-expression and freedom of movement. The musical variety provides broad range of emotion, movement, style and sensation all within one hour."
Pilates I- This class will teach beginners the basics of Pilates, the ultimate core body workout.
Pilates II- Core body work for those with several weeks of Pilates experience.
PowerAbs - Tone your core muscles with this circuit style class. You will feel stronger and leaner in no time
Power Legs - Your legs are home to the largest and strongest muscles in your entire body. When trained properly, they can be a source of immense strength and power, a great benefit for someone looking to improve their athleticism or general appearance. Also, because muscle is so much more metabolically active than other tissues, focusing on your legs will help your body burn that much more fat!
SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit –Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers® MSROM -Muscular Strength & Range of Movement. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Yoga– Breathe, stretch, and be strong. Bring your own mat or borrow one of ours and be ready to relax.
Yoga Core - Under-trained and weak core muscles are linked to many injuries and pain found in the body. This class will teach you to properly use your core muscles for everyday tasks. Get strong from within!
Zumba®– A latin inspired dance workout mixed with upbeat, fresh music & you have a dynamite experience sure to pass the time. Come join the party!!
ZumbAtomic® – A custom designed kids program that blends dance-fitness routines with fun games and high energy music. Parents & family welcome!
Zumba Toning® - body sculpting techniques using Zumba® Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and strength
Zumba Gold®- For the beginner, active older adult, or young at heart. Learn the basic Zumba steps & build your confidence. Feel good & keep your body moving with fun latin music.
